Try on a changeover in the middle of a set instead. Don’t try to get food/drinks at the end of a set like the masses – or expect massive lines.I still recommend public transport over driving when possible on any day, but non-Mets days are totally doable. Note: I also drove Monday this week (non-Mets home game day) and it was fine. If you absolutely must drive on one of these days, I recommend planning to arrive exceptionally early to be on the safe side.

Complete disaster, US Open parking was completely full by 11am, traffic cops were overwhelmed, ended up having to get creative and park in a public lot a long distance away. Had several thrilling moments on Ashe seeing the likes of Nadal, Alcaraz, and Osaka – but also had equally magical moments seeing rising stars like Ben Shelton and Brandon Holt on the outer courts for the first time.
